1. Information We Collect

Data you enter into the app (dose logs, protocols, lab results, body measurements, notes) is stored only on your device using your browser's localStorage. We do not transmit this to any server. We cannot access it.

Data we do NOT collect:

• No name, email, phone, or account information
• No health data or medical history
• No location tracking
• No device identifiers or fingerprinting
• No usage analytics or behavioral tracking
• No cookies set by us (the app is entirely local)

2. Third-Party Services

Lab Rat is designed to function entirely offline. However, the following optional third-party integrations may be used:

• YouTube — embedded reconstitution video tutorials (subject to Google's privacy policy)
• Discord — optional community link (subject to Discord's privacy policy)
• Browser Notifications API — if you enable dose reminders, your browser (not us) handles scheduling and delivery

We do not share your data with any third parties because we don't have your data.

3. Data Storage & Security

All your health tracking data is stored locally on your device via HTML5 localStorage. This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is sandboxed to this app within your browser
• Can be exported at any time as a JSON backup file (via Settings)
• Can be wiped by clearing your browser data or uninstalling the app

4. Your Rights

Because all data stays on your device, you have full control:

• Access: All data is visible in the app at all times
• Export: Use the Backup & Restore feature to download your data as JSON
• Delete: Clear individual entries in the app, or wipe everything by clearing browser storage
• Portability: Your JSON backup is human-readable and works on any device running Lab Rat

5. Age Requirement (18+)

Lab Rat is intended for adults 18 years of age or older. The app contains information about research peptides, hormone replacement therapy, and medical injection techniques that require adult judgment and medical supervision. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Since we don't collect data at all, this is enforced via the age verification gate at app entry.

6. Medical Disclaimer

Lab Rat is an educational and tracking tool. Nothing in this app constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any peptide, hormone, or supplement protocol. The developers are not responsible for decisions made based on information in this app.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Lab Rat does not knowingly collect, solicit, or receive any information from children under 13, and this app is not directed at children. The minimum age to use this app is 18. If you believe we have inadvertently received information from a minor, please contact us via the Discord community so we can address it — though since we don't collect data at all, there should be nothing to address.

8. Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes, we'll update the "Last Updated" date above. Since we don't have your contact info, please check this document periodically if you care about changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
